Determination of ATM Strategic Location at Bank Sumsel Babel Syariah Using Voronoi Diagram

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategic location of Bank Sumsel Babel Syariah ATMs using Voronoi diagrams. ATM is a banking technology that provides easy access and transaction efficiency for customers. The choice of ATM location is very important because it can affect the number of customers. In this study, a Voronoi diagram was used to divide the area into Voronoi cells based on existing ATM points. Analysis is conducted on these points to find strategic locations for new ATMs. The results of this study can provide solutions and input to interested parties in building Bank Sumsel Babel Syariah ATMs. With the formulation of the problem how to determine the strategic location of Bank Sumsel Babel Syariah ATMs by using Voronoi diagrams? Literature study was conducted to gain an understanding of strategic locations, Islamic banks, and ATMs. The research methodology includes the stages of determining the area, searching for existing ATM points, forming Voronoi diagrams, analyzing the coverage area, determining the strategic location point of the new ATM, and collecting data through literature studies.
