PMRI is an innovation in mathematics
education which is the result of an adaptation of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) which has been
harmonized with the conditions of culture, geography and life of the Indonesian people in general. This study
aims to determine the results of the learning trajectory of class VII students in mathematics learning
comparable material with the PMRI approach in the cultural context of South Sumatra. The method used is
Design Research. The approach used is PMRI using the Hypothetical Learning Trajectory as a hypothesis. The research instrument used the iceberg design, HLT design, written tests, interviews and documentation.
The results of this study are activity 1 students can solve comparative problems with simpler and easier to
understand problems from the context of songket cloth, activity 2 students solve the problem of how many
songket fabrics are produced and the time spent with simpler questions, then analyze equivalent comparison,
while activity 3 students exemplify the problem with variables, simplify the comparison then subtract it with
the damaged songket cloth and write down the answers
Dewi Kurnia Riza Agustiani Feli Ramury Copyright (c) 2023 JEMST (Jurnal of Education in Mathematics, Science, and Technology) 2023-12-28 2023-12-28 6 2 52 62 10.30631/jemst.v6i2.101 Penerapan Integral Numerik Metode Simpson Pada konteks Perahu Bidar Sumatera Selatan http://jemst.ftk.uinjambi.ac.id/index.php/jemst/article/view/104
The numerical integral method is a definite integral based on approximation calculations, so the results obtained do not have to be exactly the same as the exact solution. This research was conducted on one of the bidar boats in the city of Palembang. The numerical integral method in this study uses the Simpson method by comparing several existing methods in the Simpson method, the 1/3 Simpson method uses three data points (second order polynomial) and the 3/8 Simpson method uses four data points (third order polynomial). ). The distance between the data points is the same. By comparing the smallest error rate, the analysis carried out is the actual area, namely by using the Simpson method with a depth of 1/3 one inch and 1/3 lot, where for bidiri ships in circulation have an area value of 3m² and an exact error or the amount that occurs is 0.993339829%. Meanwhile, traditional bidar boats have an exact area value of 8.1375m² or an error magnitude of 0.99999849%.
Anggun Meylani Saputri Atika Zahra Copyright (c) 2023 JEMST (Jurnal of Education in Mathematics, Science, and Technology) 2023-12-28 2023-12-28 6 2 63 74 10.30631/jemst.v6i2.104 PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN ALJABAR MODEL GAME INTERAKTIF BERBASIS POWERPOINT DI MADRASAH TSANAWIYAH NEGERI 4 BATANGHARI http://jemst.ftk.uinjambi.ac.id/index.php/jemst/article/view/126
This study discusses the development of PowerPoint learning media on Algebra material at Grade VII Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 4 Batanghari. This study aims to assess the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of using mathematics PowerPoint media for students using the ADDIE model. Based on expert validation, it can be seen that the results of material validation are 75% valid category, language validation is 75% valid category, and media validation is 84.61% very valid category. The results of the subject teacher's practicality test were 95.83% in the very valid category, the students' practicality test was 84.375% in the very valid category. And the results of the effectiveness test are obtained based on the results of student tests with a completeness percentage of 90%. Based on the results of the study it was stated that the math PowerPoint media was valid, practical, and effective to use.
Husni El Hilali Nur Hasanah Rosi Widia Asiani Copyright (c) 2023 JEMST (Jurnal of Education in Mathematics, Science, and Technology) 2023-12-28 2023-12-28 6 2 75 86 10.30631/jemst.v6i2.126 PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STRUCTURED DYADIC METHODS (SDM) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR SISWA http://jemst.ftk.uinjambi.ac.id/index.php/jemst/article/view/124
The purpose of this study is to see the process and activity of mathematics learning for grade VII students by applying of cooperative learning model type of Structured Dyadic Methods (SDM) better than without using the cooperative learning model type SDM. This research is quantitative research with an experimental approach. The population in the study was all students of grade VII semester II consisting of 2 classes totaling 47 students. As an experimental class is VII A and the control class is VII B. Mathematics learning in grade VII students without using the cooperative learning model type SDM where students learn using conventional methods. With this method, many students are less active and only accept whatever is given by the teacher. This causes the learning objectives not to be achieved. The percentage of student learning activities obtained is only 36.35% - 44.03%. Mathematics learning in grade VII students using the cooperative learning model type SDM obtained the percentage of student learning activities ranging from 71.47% to 74.34%. From the results obtained, it is very clear that there is an increase in student activity when using the cooperative learning model type SDM. Thus, it can be concluded that the mathematics learning activities of grade VII students using the cooperative learning model type SDM are better than without using the cooperative learning model type SDM.
Meirisa Sahanata Fahrurrazi Fahrurrazi Copyright (c) 2023 JEMST (Jurnal of Education in Mathematics, Science, and Technology) 2023-12-28 2023-12-28 6 2 86 96 10.30631/jemst.v6i2.124 Representasi Teori Graf Dalam Jejaring Sosial Instagram http://jemst.ftk.uinjambi.ac.id/index.php/jemst/article/view/105
Social networking or social media is a medium for reflection, social media is very easy for anyone and anywhere to use. With social media, people can expand their acquaintances or friends and can find old friends who may not havemet for a long time. Instagram is an application for sharing photos, videos and also as a communication tool. On instagram you can find out person’s social value by looking at the number of followers and following, the more the person has followers and following, the wider the social interactions he has have. Followers and following can be displayed or represedted in grahptheory, where this graph theory is a diagram that contains certain information and is symbolized by a connected point. Grahp theory on the instagram sosial network ha banefits, namely, among other things, ot can help in finding old friends, finding new friends who have the same likes. And other. With thus research it is hoped that is can help in understanding graph theory on the instagram social network to see what graph exist in the social interactions of instagram users.

Sindi Ulandari Atika Zahra Copyright (c) 2023 JEMST (Jurnal of Education in Mathematics, Science, and Technology) 2023-12-28 2023-12-28 6 2 97 107 10.30631/jemst.v6i2.105
